Business agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio

Build and deploy AI agents connected to your customers’ data and business applications, from scoping through to handover.

Answer internal questions, find a procedure or initiate a request: AI agents help people access information and carry out business tasks.

MC3 Cloud supports your team in building agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio, including agents for Microsoft Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot. You can offer these projects without developing every specialist skill in-house.

Agents connected to your business applications

Example use cases include:

  • An HR assistant that answers questions using internal policies.
  • An IT support agent that guides users and prepares support requests.
  • A sales assistant that retrieves customer or product information.
  • An agent that initiates an approval through Power Automate.

Beyond SharePoint and Microsoft Dataverse, agents can query a CRM, a sales and order management system, or other applications outside the Microsoft 365 tenant.

We configure their business capabilities — or “skills” — and the tools needed to find a customer record, check an order or trigger an action. Depending on the interfaces available, integrations use connectors, APIs or Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.

From scoping to a tested agent

With your team, we define the intended users, accessible data and permitted actions, then design and configure the agent.

Testing covers response relevance, access permissions and correct execution of actions. We also define when the agent should request approval or hand over to a person.

Deployment and handover to your team

Once the scenarios have been validated, we deploy the agent to the agreed channels. We provide documentation and help your team understand its configuration, data sources, connections, actions and operational considerations.

The engagement ends with deployment and knowledge transfer. Ongoing support requirements can be scoped separately through Managed services.

Example scenario

A salesperson asks an agent in Teams to help prepare for a customer meeting. The agent retrieves account information from the CRM and checks recent orders in the sales and order management system, using authorised connections, including an MCP server where available.
